The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D is not a remake but a 3D sequel to the 1974 original film: it picks up where the first film left off. The sequel is directed by John Luessenhop (who helmed Takers) and is starring Alexandra Daddario, Tania Raymonde, Sue Rock, Scott Eastwood, Bill Moseley, Gunnar Hansen, Trey Songz, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, Shaun Sipos, Thom Barry, Paul Rae and Richard Riehle.
Plot: "A young woman travels to Texas, along with her friends, to collect an inheritance; little does she know that an encounter with a chainsaw-wielding maniac is part of the reward."
